Nicole Richie Is the Epitome of Cool in This Mustard Bodycon Dress

August 27, 2024

Nicole Richie is really on a Saint Laurent streak. Only a couple of days after she made a few press stops in an all-black YSL look, the reality star was spotted on the streets of New York repping the brand once again.

On a visit to The Kelly Clarkson Show, Richie was seen wearing a long bodycon dress from the Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello ready-to-wear collection. While we’ve been seeing a lot of buttery-yellow looks popping up recently, the Simple Life alum made a case for a darker shade of the color, as this dress came in an unconventional brownish mustard hue (or as the brand calls it, “cumin”).

The long-sleeved piece was constructed with a jersey voile material and it featured a crew neckline and a draped hip, which helped separate the opaque top half from the semi-sheer skirt. According to the official site, the piece also includes an attached bodysuit underneath.

In a contrast to the warm tone of the dress, Richie accessorized with a pair of black patent leather slingback pumps, also from Saint Laurent. The pointy pumps featured an elastic mesh strap and stiletto heels, and they coordinated well with the socialite’s thick cat-eye sunglasses. To round out the look, Richie also sported small drop earrings and a statement necklace, with a gold chain and a fabulous egg-shaped pendant with a red gemstone inside.

As she promotes her new Netflix film, Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead (a remake of the 1991 comedy of the same name), Richie has been turning looks all over town, from artful Schiaparelli minidresses to monochromatic combos of bodysuits and pencil skirts.
