This year marks a momentous one of KEEN, celebrating a decade of its signature Open-Air sneaker, the UNEEK. The footwear came as a pioneer of novelty, as KEEN’s Director of Innovation Rory Fuerst Jr. set out on his journey 10 years ago to challenge the status quo of sole construction. Cords became the solution to his problem, utilising intersecting cords to match the foot’s own anatomy.
