She spotted stylish footwear from a luxury Italian brand for a surprisingly affordable price.

She unexpectedly went viral on the app after sharing the moment she found a highly coveted pair of shoes.
The shelves appeared full of different styles of black shoes as she browsed the thrift store.
However, a classic pair of Oxford brogues with white detail captured her attention.

She “screamed” when she examined them and saw they were from Prada.
Luckily, the footwear priced at just $16.99, was her size.
She rushed to buy them before staff could tell her they were priced incorrectly.
Manuela said after conducting her own research and sending the shoes to an authenticator they were verified as authentic Prada.

A similar pair of vintage Prada Oxfords are currently listed on Depop for $249.
The lace-up leather shoes have a one-inch heel and striking ivory detail.
Over 88,000 people liked Manuela’s thrift store purchase and hundreds of viewers took to the comment section.
Many confessed they were amazed by the quality of the shoes as they appeared to have been “barely worn.”
“My local Goodwill would have those behind the case for $150,” one person wrote.
“The way I screamed for you,” another chimed in.
“I need you to come thrift store shopping with me because the way I would’ve walked by those I have no shoe fashion sense,” a third said.

How to spot real Prada shoes

It’s important to carefully examine the brand logo on Prada shoes to recognize if they are fake.

Manuela’s purchase comes after another TikToker racked up thousands of views on her thrift store shopping experience.

She had been desiring an item from Versace’s collaboration with Fendi but everything online looked too expensive.
The Fendace La Medusa medium handbag was being sold for $3,550 on the Versace website.
She began to “panic” that a strikingly similar bag being sold at a thrift store may have just been a knockoff.

However, Alyssa was pleasantly surprised when she bought the bag for less than 80% of its original price.
She became “scared” to use it after an authenticator confirmed it was genuine.
